THE CURSE OF HUMANISMReligious Humanism is the lie that man is equal with God and does not need Him to direct their lives. It started in the Garden of Eden when Satan assured Eve: "You won't surely die, for God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." Genesis 3:4,5 The lie has continued down through the ages for the Scriptures state: “Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahweh, and against his anointed, saying, ‘Let's break their bonds apart, and cast away their cords from us.’" Psalm 2:1-3 Everyone is tempted with this lie and if we reject the moral disciplines of God’s truth He will send us a strong delusion and we will believe the lie.
To escape this curse we must know God’s word and believe and follow it. We also must know the lies of Humanism such as:
All of these are lies which humanism uses to deceive mankind. The result is that God disciplines the world though war, disease, famine, corrupt leaders, and a philosophy that allows sodomy, abortion, and genocide as a way of life. There are some Christian organizations, churches, and Bible colleges who claim to be followers of Christ but actually follow humanism. They can usually be recognized by their refusal to accept the first eleven chapters of Genesis as true history. This is due to their desire to be independent from God and His way of life. Do not accept, follow, or support them. Let us heed Paul’s warning to Timothy: “For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3,4 God does not want us to experience evil, yet Satan’s temptation was for Eve to gain the wisdom of knowing evil. He continues to tempt us today with the same lies with tragic results. Humanism is for any form of sexual perversion with the result we accept divorce and remarriage, sodomy, living together before marriage and worse. The result is slavery to pornography, lust, and sex without restraints. The science of Humanism is evolution. The result is a belief that we are only an animal. Then we wonder why people act like animals. Humanism does not believe that human life is sacred. Hitler used the teachings of evolution to support his destruction of Jews, Gypsies, and those with infirmities. Wherever Humanism is taught there is an increase in suicides. Humanism does not accept a free enterprise system, but rather a one world government based on Socialistic communism. The history of such governments prove that they cause great harm to the people they govern.
